Program Officer, Early Learning
Lissette Antonia Morales joined the Trust in July 2018 as a Program Officer of Early Learning for the Parent-Child Home Program (PCHP). She leads a team of Early Learning Specialists providing services to families in the East and North wards of Newark. Lissette is excited to provide PCHP to the children of Newark, because the program is a proven contributor to school success. With an approach of teaming with parents and emphasis on early literacy, PCHP offers more than literacy skills, it offers parents the opportunity to deepen bonds with their children.
With varied and extensive experience working with children and families in urban settings, Lissette discovered her passion during a college internship. Over the course of her career, Lissette has acquired a range of experience, including service as a preschool family worker, pre-natal case manager, in home family counselor with Department of Child Protection and Permanency (DCP&P), and a family support specialist for DCP&P. She is dedicated to bettering the lives of children and families by utilizing programs resources, educating families, making community connections,and fostering self-advocacy.
Lissette holds a B.A. in Psychology from New Jersey City University.
