We will update our website and social media pages with new information and resources as they emerge. Below you'll find five new resources (indicated by *), virtual volunteer opportunities and announcement of free childcare for essential workers. Resources include a comprehensive resource guide from the NJ State Police including mental health and crisis hotlines, emergency housing, senior services and more.

Virtual field trips are a great way to expose kids to new places all from the comfort of home. In this age of technology, so many museums, zoos and aquariums have set up virtual tours and webcams of their facilities. The Newark Board of Education's Breakfast and Lunch Program is available for all students at designated schools from Monday to Friday between the hours of 9:30 am - 11:30 am. Student can pick up food at any NPS site nearest to their home. Click here for details.

The Mayor’s Office and the City of Newark in collaboration with Newark Board of Education is calling on all students residing in Newark, regardless of school to create an original Public Service Announcement with a catchy slogan.
Students are invited to submit a Public Service Announcement with a slogan to promote health and safety in our great city associated with the virus COVID-19. Join Panorama Education for a supportive virtual learning experience, open for all caring adults (and students!) who would like to learn more about how to use Zoom. Panorama will cover how to enable and use the breakout room feature on your free Zoom account to foster small group collaboration and connection.
