As part of our Safe and Supportive Schools Initiative, The Newark Trust for Education is currently accepting applications to participate in the Funders' Collaborative for the 2018-2019 academic year. This competitive grant program is provided to eligible schools in support of creating intentional, coordinated and systematic efforts to provide Safe and Supportive school environments and interventions.

Participating schools are supported in fostering the emotional well-being of students, minimizing behavioral health related barriers to school success, and the implementation of coordinated care.
