Newark Trust for Education is pleased to partner with the Victoria Foundation, Newark Arts Education Roundtable, Newark Thrives! and Schools That Can Newark for this exciting grant opportunity open to charter and traditional public schools.

Starting in the 2018-19 academic school year, Victoria grantmaking related to Newark’s public schools will be undertaken by 4 local intermediary organizations:

Newark Trust for Education – for grants related to social/emotional learning

Newark Arts Education Roundtable – for grants related to arts education

Newark Thrives! – for grants related to STEM/STEAM efforts

Schools That Can Newark – for grants related to college access & success

Some of the benefits of engaging intermediary organizations include: opportunities for capacity building sessions related to evaluation, program enhancement and fund raising; and convening school leaders to share best practices.
