In light of the current coronavirus pandemic and to protect the health and safety of our community, the Newark Trust for Education's annual Candidate's Forum will be streamed live instead of hosted before a live audience. The forum will also be recorded and posted to our website for viewing in the weeks leading up to the April 21st election.This format will limit interaction with large crowds and allow for a controlled environment. 

We remain committed to serving as an independent source for information about the 2020 Newark Board of Education election scheduled for Tuesday, April 21.

From now until election day, we’ll do all we can to ensure that you find the information needed to make your choice. The Trust is committed to creating a platform for the residents of Newark to hear and assess the candidates’ priorities and ideas.

Breakfast and Lunch Locations

The Newark Board of Education's Breakfast and Lunch Program is available for all students at designated schools from Monday to Friday between the hours of 9:30 am - 11:30 am. Student can pick up food at any NPS site nearest to their home. Click here for details.
