Director, P-12 Strategy
Stephanie Parry joined the Trust in May of 2017 as the Director of Programs and Community Engagement and has since been named Director of P-12 Strategy. With experience coordinating community-based education programs in her home state of California, practice delivering education and health interventions in South Africa and Uganda, and a background in non-profit management and program evaluation, Stephanie brings to her work both first-hand knowledge of community development and a strong understanding of the technical supports that make interventions successful.
Prior to joining the Trust, Stephanie was a Policy Analyst at Strong Healthy Communities Initiative in Newark where she managed a diverse group of collaborative partners to design and implement innovative cross-sector pilot projects to bridge gaps in education, primary care, mental health services, housing and nutrition for children in the Newark’s South Ward.
She also worked as an analyst and consultant—assisting budding organizations in the fields of education, health and international development increase internal capacity to deliver evidence-based, measurable and effective programs.
Stephanie holds a BA in Sociology with a minor in Education from the University of California Berkeley and an MPA from George Mason University. She is also a returned Peace Corps Volunteer (South Africa 08-11) and a former Education Pioneers Analyst Fellow (14-15).
