All Newark traditional and charter public schools who participate in Newark Enrolls are invited to submit an LOI for grant funding by February 14th.

Starting in the 2018-19 academic school year, Victoria grantmaking related to Newark’s public schools will be undertaken by 4 local intermediary organizations:

Newark Trust for Education – for grants related to social/emotional learning

Newark Arts Education Roundtable – for grants related to arts education

Newark Thrives! – for grants related to STEM/STEAM efforts

Schools That Can Newark – for grants related to college access & success

Victoria Foundation will NO LONGER be accepting letters of intent or proposals directly from public schools or school management organizations in Newark. Some of the benefits of engaging intermediary organizations to conduct grantmaking on our behalf includes: opportunities for capacity building sessions related to evaluation, program enhancement and fund raising; and convening school leaders to share best practices.

All interested schools must submit a letter of intent (LOI) no later than Wednesday, February 14th by clicking here.
