Join us on March 25th or March 27th as we gear up for the April 5th NPS Advisory Board Forum! These smaller forums are designed to provide community members an opportunity to:

• Give feedback on information presented during the Mayor's community conversations on the return to local control.
• Inform questions for NPS Advisory Board candidates.
• Inform recommendation to the Mayor and NPS Advisory Board chair.

Each forum will focus one of the following questions:

Q1:What information is necessary to inform your vote?

Q2:In consideration of local control, what are the qualities necessary for a strong and effective advisory board? Does the type of board, elected or appointed, make a difference? If so, what are the pros and cons of each?

Q3:As local control emerges, what are the key initiatives you believe are important to implement for attaining your vision of an effective public school system in Newark?
